Wipanan Tanthanasarn (Nan) –19

Wipanan“Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.” Gandhi

Host Organization: World Vision Foundation of Thailand (ETIP)

My name is Wipanan Tanthanasarn, a nineteen-year-old student who is currently studying business at Thammasat University. I decided to apply for your programme since I believe it would be a prerequisite for my future success. I hope to accumulate experiences, expand my horizon and world outlook and gain intercultural practice from serving as a youth ambassador. I believe that this will not only give me invaluable experiences but also make my life more meaningful and rewarding.

Ever since I was a child, I’ve been concerned with inequality and great poverty. Never have I believed that inequality would be erased, it exists and seems to be everlasting. However, it is my conviction that it can be lessened, with the great contribution of people who have good fortune. This conviction subsequently leads me to be interested in volunteer works and it is part of my decision to apply for Saphan Siang Youth Ambassador programme.
